MONIKA SHARDA

Monika, born in 1977 in Pali, Rajasthan, is a respected contemporary Indian artist recognized for her richly textured abstract paintings. She holds a Master’s degree in Drawing and Painting from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Working primarily with acrylics, her art features vibrant colours, layered surfaces, and high-relief textures that convey depth, balance, and emotional calm. Her meditative compositions reflect a strong command of material and form. Monika has exhibited widely in India and internationally, including prestigious exhibitions in Japan, and continues to contribute actively to the evolving contemporary art landscape.
